There is a bus stop a short walk from the houseboat. The nearest train station is Brading- 2 miles away.
It is possible to walk to the houseboat from Ryde ferry terminal / hovercraft. A beautiful walk along the coast, ideally done at low tide.
By car
From Fishbourne ferry termimal, drive to Ryde on the A3054 and leave Ryde on the A3055 towards Sandown. Outside Ryde at a set of lights turn left to Bembridge on the B3330. At St. Helen’s take the B3995 to Bembridge. Quarter of a mile after driving alongside the sea you, and after you have gone around a corner bending to the left you will find houseboat Blackrock. It is next door to a large white / orange houseboat. Park in the lay-by opposite the houseboat (by the “Blackrock” sign) and cross over the B3395 to the houseboat.
