Our aim is for you to have memorable, peaceful and private time at the Houseboat
Bedrooms
The houseboat can sleep up to 4 adults and 2 children.
There are 3 bedrooms on board. 2 doubles, and one room with two single beds. Note that one of the double rooms and the single room both have limited headroom and thus are only appropriate for children / agile adults. There are no bathrooms on the top floor (with the limited head height bedrooms).

Note that there is no microwave.
Bathrooms
2 modern bathrooms of which one is a family bathroom with a bath and then a second bathroom (en suite with the ground floor bedroom) with large shower.
Heating, Lighting and Bedding
Gas central heating. Electric lights throughout. All bedding and inside towels provided.
Entertainment & WiFi
There is no TV onboard. There are some board games, and plenty of books to enjoy though…plus the ever changing view. Help yourself to the binoculars to enjoy the bird watching.

Children and pets
The houseboat is a lovely place for children, with crabbing and sandy beaches all very closely available. However, we recommend the houseboat is only used for children > 8 years of age as it is surrounded by water, and you have to cross a busy road to get to the boat from the parking.
Apologies, pets cannot be accommodated.
Also to note
The houseboat is warm and fully equipped and is a very special place to be, but is not luxurious in the traditional sense of the word. It is situated in a working harbour, so you will hear noise from other boats and houseboats moored nearby.
Wheelchairs – unfortunately it is not wheelchair friendly.
